I am no longer a blog stalker...I officially have one of my own. I don't know whether or not if that is a good or a bad thing. So this blog will be my ramblings about this and that and what not. So for my first post I thought I would reflect on this time of year.
Reasons I love Fall:
1) You don't feel unproductive if you stay inside and read a book and listen to music...it's like the season wants you to.
2) The colors. I love all things the color of fall. If you come into my room, you will see that I try to keep this color palate all year round.
3) All things pumpkin. The pumpkin cookie at City Bites, pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks, the pumpkin bagel and my new favorite neighborhood bagel shop, pumpkin candles (the best one is from Bath and Body Works...believe me I've tried them all)...you get the point.
4) TV shows start their new seasons. I have been waiting all summer to see my buds from The Office, House, Grey's, and ER. Not to mention the Dancing with the Stars has started...love it.
5)Football. As I write this I am sitting on my couch with my OU t-shirt on, waiting for the game to start. I love me some college football. Also, my eleven-year-old cousin is in a pee-wee football league. I've gone to some games and it is great.
6) School Supplies-Although I am no longer in grade school, I still feel I sudden urge to go buy school supplies. It reminds of the You've Got Mail quote, "If I knew your name and address, I would send you a bouquet of sharpened pencils." Now in the working world we can buy office supplies, but it is not the same. I love Crayola crayons and markers, Elmer's glue, Five Star notebooks (college ruled of course), BIC mechanical pencils, etc. Give me the name brand stuff, none of the cheap knock-offs.
These are just a few reasons why I love fall, as you can see I ramble.
